Dtonic selected to be part of Busan’s Smart City Joint Venture

The Grand Consortium will participate in the public-private joint venture (SPC) which will create the Busan Eco Delta Smart City. Busan Smart City SPC is composed of public sector operators consisting of Water Resources Corporation, Busan City, and Busan Urban Corporation, and private sector operators consisting of corporate consortiums. The Grand Consortium plans to lead the smart city business and advance into the global market by combining the know-how of global leading conglomerates. Dtonic is one of the private operators which will take part in this joint venture under the Grand Consortium. Other private companies in the Grand Consortium include Hanwha Energy, NH Investment & Securities, Hanwha Insurance, Naver Cloud, etc.

The goal of this joint venture is to create a smart city that implements the 4th industrial revolution new technology and innovative services. Which can thereby become a world-leading smart city model for other cities to follow. The smart city will include many technologies such as a hydrothermal energy system, distributed water purification system, R&D complex, and a drone demonstration area. While in the process cultivating future technologies such as big data, autonomous vehicles, smart energy, and AI.
