Dtonic Selected for Gyeongnam Smart City Data Hub Project

We’re excited to share that Dtonic has been selected to build the Smart City Data Hub for Gyeongnam Province, part of a national initiative by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport to expand smart city infrastructure across Korea.

Gyeongnam, short for South Gyeongsang Province, is a southeastern province of South Korea known for its industrial cities, coastal regions, and vibrant economy. The province includes major cities such as Changwon, the capital, and key urban centers like Gimhae and Tongyeong. This project will span 18 cities and counties, focusing on advanced data management to enhance urban safety and efficiency.

Building on our experience in cities like Busan, Ulsan, and Chungbuk, Dtonic will deploy solutions powered by our D.Hub platform, including:

  • Emergency Transport Information System: Real-time patient data transfer through the 119 emergency network, helping hospitals prepare for incoming patients and enabling faster, better-informed transport decisions.

  • Enhanced CCTV Monitoring Service: Intelligent video analysis to manage high-volume footage in real time, supporting rapid response and more effective urban management.

Through comprehensive data integration and analysis, Dtonic’s technology will address urban challenges like traffic congestion, resource management, and disaster safety, improving both regional security and residents’ quality of life.
